Another exciting one of our AI products, is our SETA solution. Born out of the EU SETA mobility project, it is an out-of-the-box, low cost traffic monitoring and surveillance software program. Moreover, SETA is extremely easy to install. It uses existing Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) camera’s that can be calibrated within minutes. Therefore, you don't need expensive wayside systems or induction loops. You use the video streams to monitor traffic situations in many different locations. With a single off the shelf Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) you can monitor with 10 camera's at 2 frames per second. All from a central location such as your operating centre. As you would expect, our system is fully scalable.
Once you have set up SETA, you can immediately start detecting, counting and tracking vehicles and their speeds. Ideal for situations such as multi-lane roads, traffic lights and tunnels. As a result, you can increase road safety by harmonizing vehicle speeds, whilst making better use of traffic lane capacity.
The SETA system is the ideal solution for temporary traffic situations such as road reconstruction and temporary traffic lights. By measuring traffic density and predicting traffic flows, you can reduces traffic build-up and annoying waiting times for motorists. Finally, you can expand SETA with extra deep learning and image processing. As a result, you can use it for automated surveillance, monitoring behaviour and detecting potentially dangerous situations in public areas.
